This was recently. Even in this state, the Kenwood is superior to the OEM Entune.

 

After cramming it all back in and making all the lighty things orange for night.

I bough these like a decade ago. Figured it was time to make some space on the parts shelf.







That burst of energy is as far as i got. I finally found the touch up paint after searching through 4 other crates of stuff. That was last week.

 

The aftermarket temp control knobs were glaring icy white with the OEM bulbs. I experimented with some of my kid's underutilized water coloring set and painted the inside. DaVinci in the front, Pollock in the back.

 

Oh yea, did this too. The Redline tuning hoods struts actually suck, people. I did a lot of measuring and braining and got these bad boys.

2 inches longer
9 lb more pressure
larger diameter rod and piston
steel rather than nylon-ball-claw-connector
attached by rivnut m5-8 machine screw vs 1/4-20 inch self tapper crap



Waaaaaay more openier, no flaccidity.

 

Airing out my balls after exploring trails around Tahoe with the family a couple years ago.

 

Hard part of the Rubicon to the right in this pic. I made it down the "easy" part (Level 2) with stock suspension and only scratched the limo's stupid fucking crossover pipe. That was a good calibration exercise. Only has to stack a couple rocks a couple time.
