1st round of picking of the 2 early bushes. Kids have been singing about blueberry pies since they picked.
We'll enjoy these fresh and might sell the next few picks. Slowly working up to becoming a blueberry farm and orchard, hopefully by the time we retire.

One (cloudy) month of growth. Chives never kicked in, but the oregano is starting strong.

I have been… relentlessly. Insecticide, manually removing, everything :(.

I have another plant doing well inside and will move it in a few days.

Have you considered minute pirate bugs? I hear they will really go to town on thrips and aphids? Better than ladybugs in some cases?

It was an acccident, I swear (in best Jeff Foxworthy voice) .
We had only 6 bushes at one time, but then we lost a plum (to borers) and an apple tree to the hurricane Helen. They happen to be inside of a fenced corral and we could put in 4 blueberry bushes instead of 1 tree. And put a net over everything, eventually, to keep the birds away.

We have the land, so why not? Blueberries seem to be the easiest for us to grow.
