Not sure I like it as a truck color but do like it on the T4R and LC. Might be too much "presence" for the Sequoia. Really need to see them all in person though.

I think the SUV’s look great… but it is a lot of blue. I think they all would look much better with the black roof like the Taco shows.

I did end up purchasing it. Its a little more rough cosmetically than I would have preferred but i’m a VERY particular person. I had to settle at some point. Its a 13-14 year old truck with 95% no rust. Its as solid as I was probably going to get. It needs a bunch of dumb shit like, both bumpers replaced, engine splash guards, some minor PDR work, etc.

But, the interior is immaculate. It doesn't leak a drop of anything. Its quiet, it runs fantastic. I have no complaints so far. I ran the piss out of it on the way back fighting headwinds and rain. It seemed fine. The brake rotors are completely warped, thankfully I have a brand new set to go on already

Now the real work begins. I have a TON to do. And, a whole nother build thread to start

sorry we didnt get to meet up! I got the deal done right as the bad weather hit and we beat feet home. Traffic was nasty. Traffic lights everywhere were out!

    Morning all!!

And a big congratulations to @AR15xAR10 on picking up the new truck!

No worries, I totally understand… those storms got wild real fast! We lost power couple times, and had a bunch of hail as well. Plus, you had a long haul home with Friday traffic. Just happy I was able to help out another member! Plenty of time for meetups on nicer days. Get that thread started, looking forward to seeing the progress!!

I definitely would not have gotten this truck without you going over there and having them hold it for me. Those guys were some of the nicest salesman i’ve ever experienced in my life. Did i get the best deal? No, but i’m happy with how it worked out in the end. I am eternally grateful for your time and I definitely owe you a meal or some of your favorite beverage of choice!
Its currently hideous, i dont want anyone to see it like this
Thank you my good man :hattip:

Good afternoon, MD. I sold tires and wheels to the first person who came and looked at them. I made $50, but I also put them on and took them back off of my truck, so I guess it was a learning lesson. Now, I need to buy new tires and possibly wheels. I need to find out if 17x8 with a -12 offset with 275/70/17's would rub without actually buying them first. Do you have any suggestions on how to determine this?

    Hey Mike,

I believe the sweet spot is Zero Offset for the 17" wheel. (Just my opinion)

-10 may be the most I would do but only with 275/70R17s.

If I go 285/70R17s, I would stay at Zero Offset.

I believe my current wheels are +30 Offset and sit well inside the wheel-well. lol

@Dream Weaver has Wildpeaks with 275/70R17s and I've seen them...forgot his Offset but he reports rubbing going in reverse.

    He also has no lift.

This is with mud flaps/guards which I do not have.

probably best to search the forums and ask.

I did see this too that might help, no clue how accurate, was from one of the fb groups

@Dream Weaver does have a lift now. I’m not sure what he has it set at though.
