Cool story. It’s sad how an engine sounds will keep you from driving a truck with a truly awesome powertrain.

I have to admit I don’t hate it. But I’m curious if the paint is metal flake, pearlescent, or what. It hard to tell with the official first photos under cloudy skies.

I do agree with a previous comment. The color looks like it would be more at home on a sports car.

At least one of my vehicles has been blue at any given time since the early '80's, so I'm cool with a new blue, look forward to seeing one up close. But my Blue Crush is good for me for the foreseeable future.

There’s an ass for every seat , someone will love it. Lately there has been a lot of bold colors made by all the manufacturers. It’s like stamped name badges, trendy. Retro white or black roofs are in

Black is the shade of blue I like best, I tend to like darker blues Antimatter blue from Ford would be a prime example or Blueptint from Toyota, anything that looks like it would be home on an unmarked police car. Toyota has had many blues That look good, Voodoo, Blue flame, Heritage, Speedway. I guess blue is a nutural color but I like gray, silver, black, or brown. Xtracab limits your options and red is about as wild as you can get. Some Colors work on a Geo Tracker but won't look as good on a Sequioa.
