I love the look of the exhaust on the PRO, the twin tips seem to tuck up much more nicely than the huge tip on my Sport. I see this TRD Performance Exhaust is available as an accessory here in Canada at a crazy price of $2200. Just wondering if anyone knows the part # for it and if there is a different part for the short or long bed? TIA

Can this exhaust be installed on both long and short bed? Up here in Canada it seems to be only available as an accessory for a short bed off road.

My search didn’t confirm fits long bed. Only confirmed it will fit non hybrid and hybrid.
If it’s anything like the Tundra TRD exhaust, it’s only a pipe replacement after the resonator.

If I had to guess access cabs and short beds only as the pro isn't offered in a long bed configuration.

I wonder if there is a way to get the part# of the stock long bed tailpipe and the stock short bed tail pipe? I'd really like to get this for my Sport Long Bed.

First, is that $2,200 USD or CAD?

Second, there is a TRD Performance Exhaust Black/Chrome Tip (PT226-35241, around $800USD) and a TRD Center Pipe (PT226-35240, around $1,000USD) which also is sometimes called a mid pipe. YotaGarage sells this as a package (no part # specified) for $2,099. CA dealers may be selling the combined part numbers as the TRD Performance Exhaust.

What is confusing is that the OEM Tacoma exhaust has a front pipe, a muffler with pipe, and a tail pipe (#1, #5, and #10 below). The 35241 part number replaces the tailpipe (#10). If the 35240 part number (the center/mid pipe) replaces the front pipe, then it is way overpriced (the standard pipe is about $180). If 35240 (center/midpipe) replaces the muffler with pipe, that would seem about right. The TRD Pro uses the same muffler and pipe (#5) as all Tacomas, only the tail pipe is different.

Thanks for all this info. Yes the price is $2125.00 CDN Dollars, not sure if that is mid pipe and tail pipe. I guess why it is only available for the short bed is the mid pipe would be a different length for short or long bed. But I guess we might be safe in assuming the twin tail pipe only,is compatible with both long bed and short.

TED PRO doesn’t come with long beds and technically the performance exhaust is for the pro. Your best bet is to go aftermarket.

Not looking for a performance exhaust. Just wondering if the twin tip tail pipe will fit on a long bed.

I had my Sport long bed in for the one year service last week. I asked the parts person to look up the part # for the tail pipe (muffler back) on a long bed and a short bed. They are the same #. So that is telling me the Twin Tip Tailpipe will fit on my long bed. Now I just gotta get over the price.

There are two types of TRD tail pipes. One is a slip on black with trd branding and the other is the trd pro version. Not sure if the trd pro pipes will fit the trd sport or offroads though.

It's the Pro version. One pipe from the muffler, over the rear end, splits in to two outlets behind the rear wheel. I believe it deletes the resonator.

Interesting, do you know if the exhaust install will make your sport sound like the Pro?

I don't know if it will sound like a Pro. I don't want to change the the sound, just the look. I'm only looking at replacing the tail pipe. I'm sticking with the stock muffler/mid-pipe.

It won't sound like a Pro from the inside because the Pro has augmented engine sounds. The big Tacoma engineer said in a video that the sound files would be available for other models that want to add the TRD exhaust.
