ugh...tell me about the space they take, that is the only big drawback of them. Even if I camp solo, I so wanted an RV-3 for the space but the damn thing is too long to even fit in my 5' bed. As much as possible, my goal is to not have to carry anything on the top of my cover which forced me to get the Bunker. I've used it several times now (I have other lighter tents for remote/bike/backcountry camping) and like it a lot.

I like these better than the other plate with wings that screws together. These individual ones provide access to the trans pan. I removed the plate with wings to figure out what turned out to be rodents having eaten one of the wiring harnesses. The front of the plate is attached to the cross member using 3 long bolts that thread into a rectangular plate (guess their size and fact they don’t have nuts to hold them in place makes them screws?) that sits atop the cross member. A couple of those bolts had seized and, since I wasn’t in a temperament to “gently” remove them I used a grinder. Anyway, my 2 cents.

Moved my propane to inside my bed and put the fuel back outside. At the Helm makes double jerry can holders and yes, you can put some foam in there to make the Rotopax fit better and not rattle.

I like the modified diesel heater fuel tank. What bumper is that?

I assume the white is water… what’s the yellow with the sprayer?

Yep, white is water, yellow is diesel. Not a sprayer but a standpipe that I use with my diesel heater.

Daughter is big in the Tuned Mustang Ecoboost Crowd so she made me some custom valve-stem tire caps.
Truck is Magnetic Grey so they are a smoky grey with tire dust (from Discount Tire) and copper flakes in it (for Arizona).

Yes. I was surprised how high I could lift the corner with the bolt removed. Tried a jam nut and could still work it loose. Was going to drill the end for a cotter pin, but I didn't like the idea of someone reefing on it trying to break in. Looked for a tamper resistant bolt and couldn't find anything suitable. Going to do something to prevent someone from unlatching the tonneau cover with a coat hanger too.

I would like to see the rest of the diesel heater setup if you have a post or other pics? This is one of the next steps on my rig I want to get working on.
