I just did mine yesterday. maybe 30 minutes total and that was farting around taking my time. I didn't spill anything this time unlike my last oil change

    ^Seems affordable @ .0002 cents a mile.

I drained the SLLC from the radiator bottom drain valve and only got about 2 quarts in the drain pan including what was in the reservoir. I took the radiator cap off. I am thinking I should have got at least 6 quarts from the radiator alone. I even jacked the truck up on one side to get more out. I watched TeamOil Drop video on YT and he got 7 quarts. Can't figure out why only a few quarts drained for the radiator. Thoughts?

IIRC, Last time I got about a gallon. Almost dead nuts.
I had a gallon on hand, and had to add back maybe a few ounces of the old stuff.

Soo . . . do I dare ask how you all dispose of the used antifreeze?
Last year I had a local shop do a bunch of work, including changing most of the fluids. They wouldn't do the coolant because he didn't have a good disposal method.

The only other type of clamp I'm aware of is the kind you tighten with a screw. Those are a pain in tight spaces. The oem clamps automatically pinch closed. Stay with oem imo.

Your local city should have a hazardous waste collection program.

I bring all the old fluids (including antifreeze) to the local recycling center that is next to the landfill. The hazardous waste center, also next to the landfill, is where you can get rid of items like paint, thinner, etc. (Engine oil can be picked up curb-side with trash and recycling in my area...which is nice when you have more than one rig.)

    Cheers

My town’s recycling center doesn’t accept coolant - except for 1 day a year, which usually ends up on a day I’m out of town. I’ll have to find another option.

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
Same here. Ours was a couple weekends ago where I got rid of old paint, brake fluid and antifreeze. Luckily our landfill and auto stores take motor oil, gear oil and atf.
