Wave Maker… the new 2026 Pro color

Am I not allowed to question this guy’s seriousness?

 

I bought a Blazing Blue 3G and was sorely tempted to switch it out for a Voodoo Blue when that came out a couple years later. I'd take Voodoo over this Wave Maker a thousand times over. Wave Maker is a teal color for people who are afraid to go full teal.

 

Oooh, I like that color. Looks like my wheels.

 

Could that be considered "Bonnie Blue"?

BBP is an underrated Tacoma color. I like it much better than the Blue Crush. Tacoma has had very quality blue offerings IMO.

 

Toyota offers ten colors for the current 2025 Tacoma... my old OBS ford truck offered forty-four factory colors...

 

I like it! Like cavalry better but I’d roll it.
Not a fan of voodoo.

 

Will probaley start flaking off once the clearcoat fails in 5 or 6 years.

 

Not owning a truck that has V6 engine. Sounds coming through the speaker when it has a 4-cylinder engine. Actually is just the right thing to do

That's how ugly the wave maker Sequioa is the Cyber Truck would be a welcome sight.

OK, on wheels -- I love this color. On the whole vehicle? Too much. Are those Falcon T8s?

 

Yep, Falcon T8 Seeker, Electric Teal. Less than 30 sets (or something like that) world wide.

 

I wonder if these are painted or wrapped? Toyota went heavy on the black accents with this color. Black and teal.

It’s way too bright for me. But then again, so was Solar Octane.

 

If it's not paint, they did a very detailed door jamb wrap. Not a big fan of the color, but the Tacoma with the extra black accents definitely looks the best.

 

It's painted. Look when they open the doors multiple times in the video.

 

It is a pretty shade of blue, still has that torquise hue to it. I say it looks the best on the 4R followed by the Tacoma, might be too much on the fullsize I think the Sequioa looks better over the Tundra in WM, more dark glass gives more contrast. Torquise does contrast well in sandy landscapes and the WM on the 4R really pops against the green grass and gray rock. I still think this shade of blue would look best on a sporty CUV like a Jaguar F pace.
