They don't just have rows of them. They have rows of each color. Wild!

    LS1 swap with nitros.
When prices increase by 25% or more for a truck, paychecks don’t increase, and finance rates increase you get lots of unsold trucks.

Maybe, no sales numbers for May yet but so far this year the Tacoma is selling at the same numbers or higher than any year prior.

I’m sure they are more than willing to work a deal with that much inventory.

Maybe the dealer ordered a lot of extra stock to arrive before all these hijinks tariffs kicked in. Granted I gave up attempting to try to follow what tariffs are currently imposed so I am very likely wrong.

I know in the Midwest there are some dealers that have an arrangement with the manufacturer to act as a “holding and distribution” center. Maybe it’s this?

Yup, I was just there last week with my daughter’s car and I couldn’t believe how many gen 4 tacos they had. Of course with prices going from the high 40’s to the 60’s I almost fainted! I’ll keep my gen 3 until she dies.

They are not getting the equity I've built up in my 3rd gen. They think we will be ok with these incredible new gen prices thinking we are going to dump all the equity we've built up in our older gens to offset the new ridiculous cost. Not happening. If they wont do a killer deal on the new rig and give my my equity built up on my 3rd gen trade. No deal. Ill go get a Trailboss where they will do a good deal and give me my equity in my 3rd gen.

You do realize that if they "sold them cheap" that the price reductions would flow downstream and reduce the trade in value of your older generation truck by a proportional amount--no??
The trail boss negotiation would be fun to watch--It would be interesting to see what value a Chevy dealership would place on a midsize Toyota that is one generation removed from current. Most consumers outside of the forums want the latest and greatest. The Chevy dealerships around here would likely send it to auction

I am voting for this reason. There is a Buick dealer down here in north Georgia that is doing this very thing for Tesla. There are literally dozens of those cyber trucks lined up in the back lot of this dealer!
