I'm there to support my friends, not one up him

He just recently bought two tables, and he's testing his fiber laser first to see just how small he can make something

The fiber laser is a 5' x 10' table :spending:

Homie couldn't even afford the electricity to run an EDM machine. He need to trade in the house just to get a private run of three phase power and 800 amp transformer

He and I both started CNC at the same time, and became friends over learning the hobby together.

It's pretty awesome to see just how much we've both learned throughout the last +2 years. Even though we live a few minutes apart, we never worry about disrupting each other's market.

I'm gonna have to learn laser one of these days, I did say I want my own shop in the future :anonymous:

    Thats pretty awesome...

Im surprised at how few other technical people there are around me, there's a few LC guys but they are HARD for LC's and not much else. Theres a well known shop doing defenders, but they already have everything figured out and dont need any new supplier.

There were a few TW guys around for a minute, but now everyone has moved on or moved away...

Haltech is 2 mins from my house but they want wrench monkeys or half decent tuners not whatever i am lol, and their customers are either k series or ls, so no fab needed or wanted.

Buying a laser means you are a laser shop now, get in with scs and a local fab shop and you are golden.

Do not recommend tree trimming with a multi saw thing

Or get the right blades if they make them anyway

I guess it's probably worth some BEFORE pictures...

Day I brought it home Sept. 2019:

    upload_2025-5-18_17-15-40.jpg

2020 - I hit a deer; replaced hood, fenders - it's been had a black front since -- but got an APR bumper at no charge (yay insurance payout). It largely looked like this for awhile...

    upload_2025-5-18_17-16-23.jpg

I got a RTT in the last couple years and added a snorkle -- so the last couple years it's been roughly this:

    upload_2025-5-18_17-17-13.jpg

So yah - being one color is freaking me out...lol.
