huh. now that you mention it..... the copier guy did always wear a tie when he showed up on site. he always wore skinny style ties though with a clip.

 

Got the Taco out and stretched her legs a bit yesterday with a buddy, after working for a few hours. It was a beautiful day.

 

Weesa needs to put whatever you are running on baby toy! Did it come out on its own?

 

Checked my coals this morning I believe they are ready.
I need to break out the poker.

 

This was the turn around point to get out before dark. We had some traction boards under the tires, but they just wouldn't grab. I put the winch on the rear and pulled it, literally, 2 inches to get on the boards. It drove from there. The belly, diff and spare tire had all been dragging for quite a way. This spot was just enough incline to impede further progress. I had also spun the tires more than I usually would, knowing this would be where we turned around.

I had been having some issues with the truck and this was the first shakedown run since doing some work on it. Everything functioned as it should.

 

What tires are you running? They appear to be pretty good in the snow to get as far as they did.

These are the Dean Tires Backcountry MT 3 in 255/85/16. They're at about 30%+/- tread. When new, they were beasts. I have them at about 15 psi here. I feel comfortable down to 10, and have even gone down to 8 to get out of a pinch.

My current winter tires are Toyo M55 in the same size. Those tires are amazing, and squish better than the Backcountry tires do - M55 has a less rigid sidewall. The Toyos have a significantly shorter tread life though.

Coat and tie for the first half of my career. Even in 100° weather. When the business world went casual, so did we.

Coworker tried to go for a motorcycle ride on Wild Bill. Said nope! Too much snow still. I know I was hitting the snow line at 4200 feet a week or two ago with the bike. Looks like you had a good time!

 

Much fun was had! This was past the town on the north end of the valley, past the upper lake. I really thought we'd get further, which is encouraging for the snowpack this time of year.

 

I was up on Mount Creek Rd a week or so ago and it was clear to the Wild Bill junction.
