Cleaned the throttle body, the MAF sensor and installed a new air filter. (filter was way dirtier than it looks)

Just like in my 2018, I installed the OPT7 Parlux Triple Row LED Tailgate light bar on my son's 2022. I used the OPT7 Easy Connect Harness for simple connection for the taillights, turn signals, brake lights, and reverse lights.

Some commented that the bar doesn't sit flush on the metal surface because of a metal lip on the driver and passenger ends of the bed. To overcome this, I mounted the light bar using bar magnets (neodymium). This elevates the light bar allowing it to clear the metal lip. BTW, it's cheaper to get the magnets from Amazon vs. OPT7.

Also replaced the halogen brake and reverse lights with LEDs.

I'll be doing the 1/2 assed version of this. 6 hours isn't in my agenda. Maybe 3 hours.. I guess I'll see. I've done this once before.

Did not get a toyota loaner, they got me a rental through Hertz.

Added Eibach 1" lift blocks to the rear. Please disregard my exhaust tips. Had them powder coated black chrome to match the spare tire "rack" and some other hardware I had done. It melted shortly after install. Then a black plastic bag got caught on the exhaust and did the same thing. So yeah, if I can find black chrome ceramic coating, I'll redo them someday. I also got all my stuff together to do the extended brake lines and speed bleeders, diff drop kit, and some lift blocks for the front. Replaced all the block and some of the DD hardware with titanium because race car.

Did my first oil change since installing the Fumoto. Soooooo much less mess, especially with the skid plate. The few drops there are only because of the skid access hole and having no great way to open it without your hands getting in the way, but it beats getting oil all over the inside of the wheels and under the skid itself that takes forever to clean out. Also threw in my spare K&N while the other is out for cleaning. I got one free when a coworker changed vehicles, so I swap them out every oil change. Cleaned my cabin filter the other day too.

    The list is growing.
Feeble attempt at installing the popular front camera mod. Sr trim level 2019.
I tried it without red wire power and with. Same results. On demand rear camera, but that’s it. No front camera operational. Now. I have a “brake override light “ see dealer message on the cluster. I am just so lucky.

The peeling/flaking problem is official, but it is also not universal or guaranteed to occur. Some go years with no issues. Some claim it depends on which factory sprayed the body panels.
