Yesterday was a busy day.

Soccer game for the kiddo at 9 followed by going to Citi Field with some friends to go watch NYCFC vs RNBY.

Got home late.

And my team from Portugal won the league yesterday afternoon! YEAH BABY!

Welp, FIL has been on hospice for about 2 weeks......I dont see him making the next 30 days. He sleeps for about 15 ish hours a day..hasnt really been eating or drinking much and is now having "some" issues talking - probably from dehydration and lack of nutrition. Sad to see someone go this way. Its going to be an even more rough few weeks.

 

I don’t know you from Adam, but I’ve been through my parents being gone way too soon and my mother in law most recently in January at 86yo. My best advice is have no regrets! Just had my 89yo father in law here for dinner after helping him plant flowers earlier today.

Happy Monday. Got back yesterday from a quick trip to Blacksburg VA to watch the little bro graduate from VT.

Three days of “work”, then off until June 9 when I start my new job.

During my time off, I have some plans, including finally getting my exhaust rerouted so I can throw on my xfer case and transmission skids- as well as getting my brakes done. Pretty sure the rear drums are shot.

USB cables came in so I'll be doing a little cable management on the desk.
After that. A little work on the truck perhaps?

 

I'm still surprised that my truck received no damage apart from the rubber trim on the cowl panel getting scratched.

Traffic was brutal this morning FOR NO REASON.

Got to work 20 minutes later than usual.

Cleaned the kitchen and scrubbed the F out of my shower. Now to shut down the computer and mess with the cables.

 

Cable management is done. Took about 3 or 4 hours. I was in no rush as it was my day off.

Did not do anything to the truck, it was too cold.

 

How Cold was where you are? I just looked and Torrington was 60 and Goshen was 57, That's not to bad. Come on down here, We are going to be Flirting with 100 by Friday. To Soon For That Kind Of Heat LOL.

 

Probably high 50’s. Anything below 70 is cold for me.

 

I need to come back there, And you need to come out here, Only problem is I don't like the Humidity anymore LOL.
