    Is there anything that can be done with old 6112s, other than toss them?

    It looks like by the time Bilstein rebuilds them, you have spent almost as much as buying a new set.

    Thank you, but I am 99% sure I need to replace the shock as well. They have been on since around new, almost 9 years ago.

    I meant to say that too. You have the last Gen 6112s so depending on how much you drive there’s a solid chance they’re smoked.

    I have 100k, bought at around 2016, maybe 17. Truck had 69 miles when I bought it.. Can't remember exactly when... they are smocked, for sure

    Not wildly, but they are. The internals are revised, the body has more granular adjustment, and they’re now clear coated for better rust resistance.

    Good to know, thanks.

    I think I will get the new ones... Seems to be on point, price wise, with anything else in its class.

    Plus, I can fine tune the height better. I just looked them up and ya, having a few more adjustments would be nice.

    If stock measurements are 21 front and 22 rear, center cap to fender, I am 22 front and 24 rear... so dialing that back in should not be too hard if the ride higher chart is accurate
