    They're quick. (trout)
When wading the creek you can see them hauling arse outta there, as you're walking.

Was offered dibs on a Craftsman battery chainsaw several times.
Not a Craftsman guy other than some sockets and box ends I've aquired. Also not keen on another battery charger to plug in.

$150 is the 'asking' price. Out of boredom tonight I looked into it.

    It's the Craftsman v60 2.5ah 16"
From the little I've gathered, Craftsman doesn't make that saw, or battery, anymore. I'm thinking the saw is pretty much junk as soon as the battery dies.

Edit: It does come with the charger, so it's got that going for it.76923437272__9CAC350A-920D-494A-BECC-C0C7AD0A764F.jpg

Are uniballs worth the extra maintenance.
I was looking at trying Elevate ball joint uca's.
Found their uniball version on ebay for less.

They don't break. But, they are a PIA because you have to lube them every time it rains. Last set only lasted about 15 months-but I wasn't taking care of them. Mud and water don't do them well. See how long these guys last with constant oiling.

Come to find out.....nothing on these trucks take a liking to mud and water. lol

While I was changing oil yesterday, I took a brush and rag and cleaned all the shit from around all and any boots.

A greasable ball joint would certainly make things simpler.
Looking at the elevate uca design and wondering.....why not fill the entire uniball housing to the top with grease. To keep dirt from getting on it.
That whole 'cup'. Easier to dig grease out than dirt.

Good idea. Still get shit from the bottom, and much harder to get the oil in to lubricate-have to make a path through the grease to let it in. These need oil to lubricate the innerds...

From what I understand, no. I personally wouldn't use them on a daily driven vehicle.

I'll be happy to hear why I'm wrong, though, if I am.

I have 100K miles on ball joint UCA's, and so far they're holding up. Granted, I don't drive through quite as much mud water as some members. :D

This reminds me: I should probably grease them sometime.

Obviously it's been off the market for quite some time, it's an old commercial. The EPA or some other do-goody gov't agency probably had a problem with how effective it was.

Did you buy these? Do you like them?

4wheelparts is having a 10% off sale with code flash.

    Elevate's ball joint uca's (1114) are $540 and the caps (1190BK) are $45.

Seems like a solid option for ball joint uca's for under $600. :notsure:

This ^ is what has me looking at them. When comparing to Dirt King.
That and they boast about the quiet bushings.

I have not hit the buy button, yet.
Last night I found their uniball version on ebay for $550.
Still contemplating whether I want the extra maintenance or not.

That's a good deal on 4wheel parts. I always see the ball joint uca's around 600

Mine lasted to 170k and I changed uppers cause of rust not bad joints.

I did have one lower that was getting loose.

I probably wouldn't recommend a uni ball on a daily driver. Have to lube them every time you buy gas. Now that I know, I just do it. I also made the tools to change the balls and that only takes an hour or so. Amazon uni balls are about 50 ish each which is WAY better than what Total Chaos and some of the others wants for theirs. So far the cheap ones are holding up. They don't seem to last as long, but now that I understand what I bought I am in.

I think I may be late to the party...Whiteline have a similar product $100 cheaper and they have free shipping and 10% off your first order. https://whitelineperformance.com/collections/all/products/kta247-control-arm-upper-arm

Those are what are sitting in my garage waiting to go on when I re-do my lowers. They look like good quality parts and came recommended.
