Just an fyi. You can’t just click a button and be in electric mode. It depends on your speed and acceleration pedal pressed.

Updating my earlier comment regarding speedometer accuracy. I've spent some time since the last post comparing the speedometer reading on my Tacoma with both Google Maps and a Speedometer app that I downloaded - both using GPS - and my own truck is in fact consistently showing 1+ mph over what the GPS shows. The radar monitors at my work site that I referred to earlier are showing the same thing so I think they are accurate and my Tacoma is optimistic.

It's not a huge thing although I'd prefer the speedometer to be closer to exactly accurate.

This has been the case for me for every I've driven while using a gps. Usually it's more like 2-3 mph off at 50-60, so I'd say 1 mph difference is pretty good.

I can’t find a clear answer on this but do hybrids have different suspension setup than regular TRD? I know the wheel and tire make it sit higher but would adding the TRD lift kit make any difference?

Back in the day when I was restoring a 1969 Camaro, there were coil springs for small block cars, sm block with AC, big block, etc. Different weights/options dictated different springs.
Not sure if Toyota uses different springs for the hybrids (other than Pro/TH). If they do, seems like they would need two different lift kit options.

Are you referring to the wiring connectors or housing? Here are some of the electrical connectors:

Edit: Below post indicates a third electrical connector. Must of missed it. Will check back and edit this post.

I am interested also. I believe both are at least different on the TRD Pro Hybrid as it has sequential directional signals. From my incomplete examinations, I believe my PRO has 3 connector harnesses going to the housing. I am not sure yet which one does what.

I assume you are in Canada. How many packages of wiring connectors did you get with your truck? Does your manual indicate the connector locations?

It is hard to get a good pic, but I see what I believe to be 3. I am not sure which one does what. I can't get my hand in there to figure out how to remove a connector so I am waiting on my son to assist me.

If the black plug is what you are referring to, it is the circuit for the aux switches. You are looking at the plug for weather sealing. You should have a set of associated cables/connectors that came with your truck.
