Going to be hard for Star Yamaha to keep Deegan off a 450 once Tomac retires off into the mountains of Colorado. Those 450 guys are gonna love tossing Deegan around when he gets there.

 

I think it may be the other way around. Deegan is going to put a hurting on most of the older guys. Look at his lap times. He could beat most of them right now on his 250 while they are on their 450’s.

 

2026 will be fun. Probably won’t have any of the old bar bangers left by that time though.

 

No doubt Deegan will be a beast in 450 too. Those guys won’t be so scared of him like the 250 guys. The 450 guys won’t be afraid to punt Deegan off the track every once in awhile.

 

So, just like Jett and Hunter, when he moves up he won't be competitive??? Maybe if he had a father like John Tomac he would just get a free pass.

 

They’ll have to catch him first.

I’m not sure you can compare Deegan to Carmichael or Vilipoto. The kid has ridiculous bike handling skills. BMX, scooter and whatever else he rides too. Plus he is in amazing shape. If he stays healthy he will become the next GOAT.

 

For me Deegan reminds me more of JS7 than anyone else. Stewart always did shit on the track that no other rider could see or even want to try. Deegan has that ability to find those lines too. Deegan definitely holds that throttle wide the fuck open like a lunatic.

 

Who is going to win it all tonight. It looks like Tomac is too far behind to win unless the top three all do poorly which is unlikely. I’d like to see Chase take the win over the Lawrence Bros.

I watched the first 250 and then like 5 minutes of the 450. Think they shit the bed airing so late. Watching a race at 10pm was probably great for the viewership. Not even gonna finish it out.

 

Yeah. That was a late night for us on the east coast. Seems pretty dumb to start an event that runs that long so late.

 

Yeah. It was brutal! Then they did the 250 award ceremony before the 450 moto 2. Almost made it! Passed out with 2 mins left of the 450 race.

 

I know this is last year and I came here looking for 2025 season talk but.... I think Jett is going to have a lot to say about that GOAT tag. Deegan hasn't had an undefeated season, only 2 other guys with legitimate GOAT creds have ever done that. Kid has serious main event get shit done, but hes not even the fastest on the track most days.

 

Excited for this weekend outdoors. Was going to grab tickets since the weather looks nice, but Pala just has horrible viewing compared to TV. The 450 class is going to start out awesome having almost everyone back.

In seriousness, idk who is truly going to give Deegs a run in outdoors. He’s faster there than indoors. Would be sweet if De Wolf ever came to the states to race.

 

I don’t think anyone can beat Deegan in outdoors. I have know idea who will take the 450s with so many people just returning from injuries. I guess I’ll go with Chase winning the championship.

 

Yeah it’s going up be interesting to see if Jett is back to his old self right away or if the rest if the pack has finally matched his pace. I agree with you that Chase is the top pick for now.
