Looks fine. IMHO it looks as if it has a tactical look to it if anything

Blacked out my truck bed decal. You almost have to look at it sideways to see it. ;)

That really is where you need to start, but you can check all your fuses and brake and tail lights to make sure everything is good, as well as the battery...

Anyway, good luck and keep us posted...

You're doing everything blind and your main obstacle is the headliner. After you remove the hanger clips, you can pull the headliner down without any issue but only just enough to get your hand in there. Pull too much and you're gonna mess up your headliner. I removed the (2) panels at the rear seatbelts to get me a smidge more room. The nuts holding the light on are accessed through holes roughly 2" diameter, one on the left and one on the right(see the round hole to the far right & left in the 1st pic). Within those holes are guide pins which are part of the light assembly that are threaded at the bottom(see 2nd pic). You have to use a deep well socket and 1/4" ratchet to get to them. But be careful, you drop anything and it's gone until you get the light out, only then you can retreive them. I'd suggest having at least (2) deep well sockets so after you drop the 1st one (which I did) you have a back up. Re-installing the light wasn't as bad only because then I was familiar with the process. The nuts have the flange around them so I was able to use some painters tape to hold them to the socket and slide them down the guide pin. You cannot get your fingers in there to start them or slide them down the guide pins. You can get one finger in there but that's it!

Set aside some time for this, it's not going to be a quick install as much as one would think. Also, make sure you're in a good state of mind because it's going to try your patience!

I do not actually but there are a few video's on the 'Yutes about how to do it. Most with a Harbor Freight case.

Speaking of blind bolts. The lower bolt for the A pillar ( to upgrade to a handle) is a pita to get in. I ended up using an expanding grommet as I threaded the screw. Much easier.

I flew to california to test the dobinson MRR's again just recently (video not out yet), and if I were given the choice of the 6112 or the MRR for free, I'd take the 6112 any day of the week. The quality of the Dobinsons is good, but the base valving is terrible. With a tune, they could be good. I found the adjusters really have very little effect overall. They advertise a ton of "clicks" as if that means anything, but the actual adjustment range is pretty limited. The 10 click mid comp adjuster on the Kings has a WAY huger impact on ride than the dobinsons. I also tested the Dobinsons IMS, and they were awful as well. It's all down to the base tune that they use. They probably use the same shim stack in the IMS and MRR. Adjusters can only dial in a setup that's already like 90% there, but the dobinsons aren't even close. Bilstein is the only company that is actually changing their valving, shock lengths etc for every vehicle, and it shows. Honestly the 5100s ride as good or better than the MRR. Then you go to the 8112, and the performance isn't even on the same chart.

This is all based on offroad testing. On road, they are just as good as any other shock.

People get really fired up about it cuz dobinsons has a very loyal following, but so far, nothing I've tried from them lives up to the hype, other than their rear coils, which I do use on my own 22 tundra.

Got a smokin deal on a bak revolver x4s from @Tekniquetaco (thanks man!). Been looking forward to not seeing my previous vinyl tri-fold in the rear view flop around in the wind anymore!

Installed some Falken Rubitrek A/T 285/75/16 tires on my son’s TRD OR. Made a huge difference in the ride quality from the old Toyo R/T tires.

Appreciate it. Brief search shows that these ice chest A/Cs are pretty popular. Opposite, but need this more where I'm at!
