    Oooof

I take it this would be user error during installation when (if) they replaced it?

Edit: Just saw the last part now.

No, some BMW engines have been known to rattle the nut off. M54 was famous for it, I'll tack weld mine when I take the pan off to reseal it. But it can happen to any of them.

Awesome, thanks man! Depending on how much work this nonprofit has for me, it’s certainly in the back of my mind as a desire.

Perhaps sooner, Amber and I have been discussing a niche side hustle that would require a small laser cutter. If we ever get that going I would love to pick your brain on how to get started learning CAD.

1/8 might be over kill for the filler plate. I do have access to a press now but I'm not sure about availability of dies and whatnot. Dimples would definitely be perfect.
Oh I know you sell them but I wasn't too sure on what shipping would be for that much steel, I need one in the front yard.

The Sinclair in Blanding which shut down a while ago has this old metal Dino sculpture out front and when I was about 2-3 I told my mom "I ate Jurassic Park and theres hees bones." it's basically become tradition to say it over the last 30 years whenever we go past

I mean I could opt for 16 gauge, and it would still be really strong since it'll sit on your sliders and be supported but some people don't like welding thin steel.

For that reason 1/8" is perfect.

I just mentioned dimples cause they add a cool effect, add a bit of traction, and rigidity to the steel plate but being that small it's definitely not necessary.

Cool little sculpture there! That's the kind of stuff just made out of 'scrap'...creative for sure.

It has been a little while since I cut a dino out for sale, but I do still have a few boxes left for easy shipping. Bought a whole 50 pack of them and I'm down to maybe 10-15 total just for those dinos.

    20231220_165901.jpg

    That's a +39.5" wide, 21.5" tall dino that I price at $185 before shipping.

Shipping throughout the US has cost anywhere between $25 to $55 - to Canada it was between $80 to $120.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
The part sale is back. I might order a front diff actuator for the Tundra to keep around. That is the only thing I can think of.

1/8th is probably what's already on the sliders up front too.
    IMG_20250520_172627.jpg
It'll need 3 pieces for each side
    IMG_20250520_183435.jpg
It might be cool to cut out paw prints or something instead of just the plain drainage holes. I'll DM you better pictures and the measurements.

If I did a Dino Id want it like 8ft tall so I don't think I'd have it shipped haha
