Yeah. I picked him up at the shop in Madison. While he was in Mich, he had the car scanned. Guy at Auto Zone said according to the codes, this thing shouldn't even run, but it ran fine. The cruise control didn't work, aside from the dash being lit up like a X-mas tree, he had no other issues. Told the repair shop it would be there for 36 days.

ALF is packed up. I am not looking forward to the 6+ day road trip.

What? This is part of the adventure!

Although, I don't know how much I'd want to be in the car with the same person for six straight days, even if it was my favorite person in the world.

I have full suspension and 1" spacers with that size Wildpeak and have minimal rubbing in part of the suspension travel at about 3/4 lock, it goes away when I get past that point. I'm hoping that the little bit of rubbing will go away when I can finally adjust my alignment again.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Man I feel your pain. Good luck.

Not much more work. Leaves are by far the most labor intense part of suspension

It'll work. 2nd and 3rd gens use the same suspension components

    Send it.

But I thought the point of the road trip was to.... Road.... Trip.....

They'd be stuck in there with me.... :D

I hope he doesn't kill me.
I did, and snapped a stud checking them..
We gonna feel like we're in a Gemini space capsule. NASA went to the moon and back in fewer days.

Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with the conversation, I’ve been busy as late getting ready for vacation. I can confirm that Hawaii is the land of Tacoma’s and jeeps.

Lastly, forgive me father as I have sinned. The last photo is the rental. We went with the upgrade over the standard SUV.
I have to say it’s well suited to driving here so far although the front end feel over 50mph is less than desirable.

So, if I understand you correctly, (my brain has been on overload lately) I do not need to bring them. The truck is getting loaded up today.

Okay, as a foodie, I'm giving you a list of local places you absolutely have to try. They are in order if priority.
Leonard's Bakery - an absolute must for anyone visiting Hawaii!!
Soon's Kal Bi Drive In - yes, it's in a strip mall. But it is the best Korean BBQ
Rainbow Drive-in - da best local grinds braddah! (Pidgeon speak for 'best local food, buddy' )
Matsumoto's Shaved Ice - no snow cone can compare
Luau's - Germaine's, Paradise Cove, caveat if you're visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center, go to theirs
