So I got the Eco crawler in the mail. I wasn't happy at first cuz there was no instructions in the box. I called them and left a message and they emailed me a link to the internet PDF instructions. But that's for two Toyota cases and mine's going to be a Dana 300 behind the Eco crawler. Pictures are parts I received. Dana 300 with input shaft removed. Input shaft gear off. And what I think should happen but I don't know cuz I don't have instructions. That's the last picture. In the last picture the Northwestfab shaft is just sitting there but I think it should be pressed in. Not sure yet. I'm going to wait until I have contact with them.

Ok so back to the build thread. Well it will all be just pictures of " so far this is where I'm at." With my build.
    Pictures
1 pressing the gear onto input shaft
2 Removing gear that will be installed onto new input shaft
3 the 2 half's assembled and ready to put together
And the previous post of testing it all out.

Does the Dana 300 allow you to go into front wheel drive, to front dig?

I'm not completely sure. I think you have to do something inside the case for that.

So I avoided an exhaust re route for 5 years. But now I have no choice so I started with what else... Broken studs. :frusty: anyway there out now. It's a good Sunday afternoon time killer.

Yeah. Driver drop and even fitting a one ton is tough.

after the exhaust is done , making a cross member for the transfer case is next
then driveshaft lengths and u joints have to be figured out
then trans cross member needs modifying then then then ...
originally middle of June was finish date, not happening. Now end of July.
that's roughly a little over 3 months from the date the truck was put on stands

Not too bad. Took me about the same time to get the 63’s swapped in. You must be working on it a lot. Keep it up!

early on in school I was taught by Elmer the elephant. So I know when to cross the street and how to "eat an elephant" one bite at a time. And that's what I'm doing just a bit every day.
I have pictures, just have to organize them so they make sense I'll get to it.
