HAS ANYONE HAD PROBLEMS WITH FENDER FLARES ON THE '24 SPORT

Went on long road trip with my Tacoma and while driving on the highway. my front fender flares seperated from truck. went to toyota said its two pieces wind must got behind it to tear one piece from the other, they have a little piece of two way tape like that's gonna hold.
Anyone else had this problem?

 

Is the dealership fixing the problem?

 

not on the fender flares but on my bed caps the tape up by the cab is starting to peel up

Does the bed rail caps not have snaps like 3rd gen?

 

I HAVE IT IN TO THE DEALER NOW TRYING TO FIX THE PROBLEM

 

It’s probably held on my something like 3M’s VHB tape which you wouldn’t think is that impressive however it’s what they use to secure glass window panels to skyscrapers. That being said, the bond is only as good as the prep, could’ve just been a mistake at the factory.

VHB tape is awesome if you don’t have a roll around the house you should. Works with metal, wood, cloth, plastics, etc. but the prep work has to be done properly.
