Mixed bag. I’ve had TOROs and the quality has suffered. I used to love Snappers (vac decks, aluminum), but they got out of the rider category. There are actually ALOT of players in the ZT space. Most come down to quality and what you need it to do. Different diffs depending on hills, and mechanical decisions. Engine providers, drive systems, etc. I love my 0% APR Deere

Not that I can use one here, but got that from fellas who should know

I have a Toro dealer 12 miles away.
The guys there are great for fixing small engines... if it can't be fixed for a reasonable price they'll tell you.
So hard to find these days.

 

I think that quality has suffered on just about everything you buy nowadays. I also think that JD products have always been overpriced. We probably have 12-15 lawn care services in our area and none of them are using JD mowers.
