All original with 195K miles. Purchased some 22 years ago with an 18 year gap of ownership.
I spent the day Tuesday at the machine shop helping my friend who in turn helped me replace the upper ball joints and wheel bearings. I even got a free lunch, lol.

Yesterday, I degreased and cleaned everything on both sides followed by the pressure washer.

Today was seeing the fruits all come together. New Moog uppers and lowers, Koyo bearings. Monroe quick struts and a complete Power Stop Z32 front brake kit. All after using a rust conversion (wasn't horrible, but surface stuff here and there) to paint and 2 coats of satin black, things began going back together. Here is what it looks like now. This is not an off roading build, but bringing a piece of history back to a respectable point, a March of 1995 build V6/5spd combo.

    Thanks for looking,
    Mike

    Thanks CC !

I do take pride in these results. I have a classic muscle car that a great friend helped me do a restoration to. We spent a LOT of time on it, and this turned out close to the work we did on my classic ride. My son is so tickled, he went out and bought me 2 special double oaked bourbons today. I will find out exactly what tomorrow when visiting him and our daughter (no in law with her) for the weekend. He hates that I have been doing all the work without him, but 4 1/2 hours apart and I am the one with all the tools. For now at least...

I used Rustoleums rust to paintable surface.

The majority of the bad rust was on the knuckles and backing plates. Those were all hot tanked and dipped overnight at the machine shop. Then degreased and the same products were used on them.

Nice! Thanks for the info. I'm taking on the restoration/resto-modding of a 95.5 myself and would like to achieve similar excellent results on frame and suspension components. I'll look into this product. Thanks again!
