What Have You Done To Your 4th Gen Today?

Tinted the front windows and put on some Ark mud flaps. Couple of the holes didn't align very well on the rear passenger side.

 

Had Vision Flows 17x8.5 installed today. I like the stance now.

 

I read a fair bit and watched some videos on the EKR seat covers I'm about 3/4 the way through them and for $350 Cdn I think I will be quite happy with them

 

Those look great. Very little of the creasing and looseness you usually see

 

Those remind me of my old Clazzio's that I put on the 3rd gen and the 4Runner. Look great.

 

Just did my 1st oil change at about 2550 miles (6 months). Just took the truck in for 5k mile service (6m). I will say GrrMaker, that green flex funnel works great. I saw your earlier post and bought a blue one. Sure makes that oil filter change cleaner! Thanks for the post & link.
I did not install the Fumoto valve. Will wait until Toyota is done with the 2 free oil changes.

Price was right and it had oil filter access, so I bought one...will update once I get it and install.

 

I use a Quadlock case on my phone because It's the most secure system for mounting your phone on a bike, but it has drawbacks, like it won't charge through the case on a regular charging pad. So, I made a charging pad for the truck with a piece of 1/4" abs plastic and a Quadlock wireless charging pad. It's a tight fit for the phone in portrait mode, otherwise it looks and works great. No holes in the truck!

 

I'll be interested to know the thickness of the steel.

 

Got it washed and added some KC Flex Era 1s.

 

Sprayed mine off at the car wash and was going to give it a good hand wash later in the evening…then it decided to rain so ruined that lol.
But I did at least get my skid plates ceramic coated. Did it in the middle of my living room. I hate not having a garage.

 

Ok, I gotta ask...I have never heard of adding a ceramic coating to the skid plate. What will that do for protection or is just to help keep it clean???

 

Great repair on the rear fender. Please tell me those chips happened before you added the Canada OEM mud guards.

 

I'm guessing it's to help keep it clean and prevent muck and crap building up on it. But like I said, I'm guessing.

 

I’ve been told it will help keep them more clean. I know bare aluminum skids can get a little chalky looking over time too so I miiiight help that as well just to at least have some sort of coating.

 

I keep telling people the Canadian flaps are shite as well!!

Well after about 3 hours. I finally finished the EKR seat covers and am pleasantly surprised with how well they turned out..I think having small hands made it 100x easier..

 

I had the RokBlokz on my last one. I think anyone who buys a 4th gen should bring the ppf up past the gasflap on both sides. I have aftermarket wheels but same offset as stock but if there was any amount of poke I think my paint would have been much worse.

 

Wow, I'll give RokBlokz a more serious look but have some PPF on order too.
