A little early for speculation but Toyota did announce the new Pro color. Any predictions on what will change for 2026?

The 3g got refreshed grilles and a Safety Sense update at the two year mark. The new RAV4 has Safety Sense 4.0 and Arene Software so that's available. The original 3g grille was heavily panned, so an early refresh there made sense. I think most people are happy with the 4g grille.

After just one year, the 4g added an (optional) 4th Aux Switch and with it an alternator. I don't think anyone was clamoring for a 4th aux switch, so that was an unusual change.

Never, Toyota won't mess with things that will change the initial EPA ratings. I don't think we've ever seen a tire size change.

I don't expect anything for 2026, Tundra is due first.

A fix for the excessive positive front camber on the TRD Pros.

A RC diesel for the 4 people that want it!

kidding, it would be cool if some of the concepts came to fruition (X Runner, RC TRD Pro) but we know those won’t pan out.
Maybe some packaging differences. I know Taco sales are high which is great, but I wonder how many more they would sell if they broke down the Premium package such as “leather” as a stand alone option so that premium package could come down $2,000. It won’t happen since Toyota has always grouped packages like that, but I’m just tossing ideas out.

the sad part is with how much Toyota spends on NFL sponsorships that isn’t too far fetched.

I think the Colorado will be the only mid-sized diesel if someone really wanted.

310hp Turbomax extended cab WT 4x4 Colorado doesn't sound that bad. Maybe they'll add a headlight switch while at it.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
I don't expect anything, although the 3rd gen Tacoma got some slight changes on '18 and '20, so not impossible for some updates to happen.

Gonna go slightly off topic, but I do wish there is a plug for a trailer brake controller. Would make for an easier trailer brake controller installation since not all 4th gen Tacomas come with one, and to get one means you have to get other features that some people may not need/want to pay for.

The 6th gen 4Runner, the 2nd gen Tacoma (with towing package), and the 3rd gen Tacoma has a plug for a trailer brake controller.
The double cab 3rd gen also got power rear sliding windows starting at MY2018. Before it was manually operated.
