Sig's response to their M17 and XM7 issues is what makes them a crappy company today. Which is sad because they had a good reputation in the past and did not play those games.

Well I’m out of the loop there. I don’t know what they said. I’ll have to go see.

Too much immature editing in that video for me to take it seriously. YouTubers try way too hard to be funny and it’s so off putting. Adds nothing of value to what they’re trying to say.

I've been watching this guy for a couple years, there's been some great vids. I didn't realize he was working for someone else when it was Task and Purpose.

I picked up a shooting mat from Midway (generic internet pic) because I want to try my range’s 300+ yard section. I’m a non member there so my access is limited. I’m wondering about a possible technique to mitigate muzzle flip. Aside from properly loading the bipod, do we think it would be detrimental to use a small loop of 550 cord through an unused sling stud to slip a couple fingers through before gripping the forend? As much as I want it to help, downward tension albeit through just two fingers would probably introduce unwanted forces and effect POI..? The recoil isn’t bad, but the muzzle rise makes me frequently have to reset my sight picture. It has a 24” heavy target barrel. Rounds are not overly hot.

Thoughts? I’ve been shooting for many years but I’m still getting used to this new .308 and finding the sweet spot. Pictured is a loop of cordage I added but I haven’t yet been back to the range to test its impact on my impacts. Ha

It shoots very tight groups at 100 yards but I want to keep it tight out farther, and it may without issue. I’ve only shot it once so far out to 100yds, 33 rounds total.

Muzzle brake and build a better/more natural shooting position.

I almost bought a brake for this but I didn’t want to make it louder. I made it to the range today, qualified at the 100 yard section with three shots (5 allowed) before they let you over to the 300 yard section. 300 yard section I started at 150 and then 300.

I found this rifle shoots flat as zeroed out to 150 yards. At 300 it was low. After adjusting up the estimated number of clicks this is what I had. I’m happy with this given how small the target looks at max zoom from 3 football fields deep. You can’t even see any green on the paper from that far.

Great day at the range. I had the 300 yard section all to myself. Prior to today I have never shot beyond ~120 yards or so.

looks fun! I put a brake/compensator on my 30.06 and it feels like a 308 now. It doesn't have that muzzle rise off of the target in the scope. Oh, I found it! Witt Machine. It's a real unit. I might change it out for a muzzle device to go with my suppressor. But I dunno, do I need to suppress 30.06? I was easily ringing steel at 550 without reacquiring target much.

I’m liking it so far. Pretty good trigger feel out of the box, for striker fired at this price point. Small enough to conceal with shorts and t shirt. The package/bundle with the extra mags included sealed the deal for me.

got my slide back on my g19.4 from wagermachineworks with black nitride finish.
wagermachineworks did and awesome job, from teh email, to the serrations to the race cut and the timeframe- 2 weeks.
need to relearn target acquisition from irons to red dot. having a hard time seeing the dot on the first target but once i acquire the dot no problems from there.

    Very nice!
The dot took me a minute to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, it’s much faster. You probably already know this, but it’s what I was doing wrong- look at the target and finding the dot is much quicker. I was looking for the dot and moving it to the target.
