This is exactly why I insisted on having a house with a poured foundation... Block foundations in the age of the houses I can afford all seem to be rotting away.

 

We started about 9am and finished about 4:30pm. 7.5 hours including a trip to Lowe’s and a lunch break.

The Elantra was too low for my ramps so I had to ghetto it.

 

My brz is as well. For oil changes and tire swaps, I just lift on the bottom of the front crossmember in the middle

 

I couldn't find anything I was comfortable putting the jack under from the side and it wouldn't reach anything from the front.

 

Been working on a mirror for my boss. He's 3d printing me a model of my chevelle but wouldn't take payment. Gotta repay a kindness.

Nothing good about swollen nuts…

 

Man, I've got those same ramps and it worked for my GTI which was pretty low. It does do pretty good for the Camry oil changes though.

 

Unless there is some help to take down the swelling...

 

If his car was literally 1/4" higher, the bumper wouldn't have hit the ramp. The 2x6 did the trick.

 

My old house has a fieldstone foundation, well parts of it at least...

The whole place is rotting away with the years -- but so am I, kind of a slow race to see who falls down first.
