You know if GA ever gets 2 in of snow the whole place just shuts down right??

Actually any quantifiable snow that sticks to the ground is cause to cancel everything-

 

I don't have the desire to look nice anyways BUT I do not go out in my pajamas so I got like 1/2 the people beat already

 

With the lack of snow around here the past couple years it's starting to be that way around here

I have the bad habit of driving to places I frequent, pulling up and then jamming it in reverse to back in sorta without lookin'
The angle and the reverse lights should tell ya all ya need to know

Ruh Roh… yer my neighbor….

he backed into two people parked in front of my house… “because they shouldn’t have been parked there… that’s where I back out”. The hilarious part is that both times, it as neighbors who moved their family vehicles to make room for party guests they were having. One of them was one of my other neighbor’s prized mustang convertible…

 

I lived in Greenville, SC for 10 years.
Every Winter was the same, snow flurries in the forecast and everybody went nuts and rushed out to the grocery store.

Except that one time there actually was some serious snowfall, 6 inches or so, IIRC.
Everything shut down.
The National Guard was called out.
The local TV station had a helicopter up over I-85.
They'd land in the median strip and interview stranded drivers

A couple days later, most of it had melted.
But people talked about it for months

They probably still talk about it.

"Hey, remember that bigass snow in '93?"
"Yeah, who could forget?"

 

I DO Remember the big ass snow of ‘93…

 

So I am not that bad . . .
I do it in parking lots only but the one at work has a bunch of pedestrians that think they don't need to look for cars when they are in the [gasp] parking lot . . . one time I almost tagged my boss there b/c I backed in and my tailgate overhangs the sidewalk - that would have been bad

And I do it in my own driveway, where I should not have to look - because private property

I did have a fella follow me home a few weeks back - luckily he is a smart guy and realized exactly what I was doing, stopped half way down my drive and let me park without any nonsense
