I can't think of two many things. One thing I have noticed is it's hard to see if the Tacoma next to me has its blinker on. There isn't much side indicator and it's a theme with Toyota. 2G & 3G with the indicator mirrors probably will get the job done but with out the mirror signals I cant tell if the front or rear turn signal is on from the side. The front sequential signal might reach over into the corner of the lamp. All other 3G halogen headlights 2G and 4G front sigals are inside the headlight closer to the grill not near the corner. 1G signals are in the front bumper. Even a turnsignal in the bed rail right behind the cab would work.

When I restored my Mazda years ago I added signal lights to the front fenders like those on vehicles in Europe. Thought about doing same on Taco.

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
Fairly happy so far and hopeful. But my 23 is missing a quality paint job and the inside definitely scratches easy especially with dog. My door hinges almost never hold the door open on my incline driveway except when my hands are full and Im expecting the door to close like it always does on me. Mirrors look good but arent of great function.

As far as accoutrements, start with more bed tie downs and a rail on the front of bed as well and at least another usb charger in the dash .

I hate that my 2015 doesn't have a outside temp sensor. WeatherChannel threw a bunch of money to get their logo on the Entune screen and it's worthless

"Here's the current weather 45 miles and 45 minutes ago! You're welcome!"

agreed on this 100%. The mirror signal is somewhat useful. One of the best design from Toyota is the 2017 sienna. I’m sure there are more model with good design, but I have the 2017 Siena. The front signal light is at the corner. Almost anywhere from the side, you are able to see the front turning signal.

First week, this was one of my additions. Put them in many places on the sides and floor. Some maybe not super heavy duty, but I got lots o' places to tie to now haha.

As far as my gripe - (pardon my fraaanch) a fuckin' driver side handle. After the previous 20 Taco years, no excuse is legit.

There is a side marker kit for Volvo that comes with the harness that could be fitted in the fender. I have one of those kits somewhere that I was going to use on a WK that I had installed a full projector xenon headlight conversion, but never got around to it. Something like this: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-side-marker-light-assembly-all-amber-1-1
Hardest part will be cutting the hole correctly.

    Turn signal mirrors... seriously???
A mirror on the passenger side used to be optional equipment back in the olden days.

I wouldn't say missing, but seems they have too much and are not over priced.

    No - TSS
    No - electronic E-brake
    No - Infotainment computer screen
No - lights all over like a darn Christmas tree

Need a no frills truck that has longevity, you know how Tacoma/Hilux got is reputation
