I'm always super impressed when someone brings an older post forward with comments. This thread moves so fast, I know you had to start 5 pages back to even see that post. Thank you. That's the kind of participation that keeps this alive!

I'm going to pass on that one. I had looked at it when I got the other one. Admittedly the magnet solves the phone size issue but it doesn't solve the phone in the sun and phone in the way issue. It is a better product than what I got and worth every bit of that $10 extra that it costs. But as a guy that has decided the whole phone ON the dash thing isn't for me, it doesn't do what I need it to do.

I really need to suck it up and get one like this.

Yeah it's like $1400 after tax but considering the safety of having a display that I can see and that has bigger buttons and a meaningful map display, I think this is the way.

Thanks, yeah my biggest issue is I am OCD and always over think stuff like this, I am gonna mount it just a tad off to the left (driver side) of the raised up part which should make it almost centered...

Even though the mount might be a bit off centre, if you rotate the camera slightly toward the middle the display should look centred.

    I drive a TRD Z71 Off-Road. :D

My buddy has a Colorado with a TRD decals on the sides of the bed so when I got my TRD I took a z71 badge and put it on mine lol. It's fun getting the from some and laughs from others.

16k miles on my truck now; swapped out the OE diff fluids for some fresh Redline 75w85. Truck feels smooooth. Glad I didn't wait any longer as there was more break-in glitter than expected in both, but nothing to worry about. I've read on here that the diffs don't have magnets, but at least on a 2021 they do. I would have done the transfer case fluid as well, but it hasn't shown up yet. Hopefully will this week so I know they've all been swapped at about the same time.

Now that is funny, and I did get a laugh out of it when I saw the Z71 while also thinking WTF... I just had to ask... lol

It should be close enough to center that it won't matter, but I hadn't thought about it being off centered on the screen...

Took me a minute to realize what it said, too funny...

Went to visit family in Carson City, NV. Meant to take the truck on it's maiden off road voyage and go shooting in the desert, outside of town, with my Dad, nephew, and my son. Stupid holiday mouth breathers gummed up 80 into Tahoe and made my trip up take too long. Could not just jam off into the desert to go play when I haven't seen Moms in way too long. Stayed behind and the kids went shooting. Much disappoint.
So I'm chilling with my Mom and Dad and they want to check out the truck. Last time they saw it it was bone stock. I'm staring at it from behind and one side is lower than the other. Passenger side was 9" off the tire while driver side was 9 5/8". Got back to Commiefornia and started going through the suspension with a measuring tape and comparing each side. No differences. Just before I jump in to taking things apart, I decide to jump up and down on the rear bumper. Fixed. Each side is exactly 9 1/2" off the tire. I'm amazing...

Nobody likes a post without pics so here is a picture from my Dad's office wall. I drew it back in 1998. I miss drawing. Pops added the cut out image. He could never remember what car it was because, " its not a MOPAR."

Can you tell me what fridge that is and how wide the slide is? I am thinking of doing a rear seat delete with a slide but I'm not sure the max width the slide can be and not hit the door when it is pulled out.

I just installed a set of the VLEDs tail light conversion, and the results are great! My question is: I had to use the resistor they supply on the passenger side due to hyperflash. The driver's side was fine with out, so I didn't install it on that side. Normal or am I going to fry something on accident?

There isn’t a short if that’s what you’re worried about. As far as the truck knows it’s business as usual. Resistors only cut back they don’t inhibit the circuit(s)
    Imho.
