I did that for all of our can lights that used the silly expensive square base fluorescents. It took a while as I did it the hard way. Cutting out the ballasts, cutting off the socket adapter, and tying them into the romex. Well worth the effort for cost, looks, and light quality.

The wild part is that insurance repairs still negotiate down to well under $100/hr.

 

I know body shop labor is much lower than mechanical labor rates. Have seen a few quotes from the guys next door since I’ve been down here.

 

It’s inline with what I’m seeing with indie shops. Crazy that they are not much cheaper than a dealerships these days.
Heck, even mobile mechanics want to charge $150 to connect an OBD device.

Thanks! 2 have good tread, over 60% I would say and 2 are around 35%. The spare 35” has probably less then 500 miles on it and the 33” spare has never been ran. I can sell the spares separately too.

How much was needed for 35s?

 

None. CMC, folding the pinch welds and maxing out caster through the LCAs and reducing caster through my UCAs to push my wheels forward is all I did. I did rub a little at the top of the fenderwell on some of those nub things that stuck out though.

Not required but I did add the marlin alignment cam brace kit too after I flattened a tab on one side.

 

I have a rear platform for an access cab. Deck is birch plywood covered with roll-on raptor liner. Marine style latches on the removable panels. Frame is made out of 1x1 extrusion. Held in place with 4 tie down anchors and turnbuckles. You’d likely have to take a few inches of material off the forward nose portion of ply as it was made to fit flush with my custom center console.

It was made for my 2011 access cab. May be differences for the rear cab wall plastics that could be an issue for fitment, but not sure.

Also have a ECGS needle bushing removal tool, new in box. $20

I’m down in Olympia. I’d imagine it would fit. Maybe slight gaps at the cab wall since the 08 “seat” backs don’t jut out like my 2011. And again some material needs to come off at the center console facing piece.
