I've heard that some of the Amazon drivers get hit with this pathway, too. The story is wild, the couple in the back seat talked about having to "link arms to keep stable" lol :anonymous:

Driver needs to learn to read a map, and the riders need to get out more

Plus, aren't there signs when you first get on that road stating that its for off roading? That driver should have realized long before he got into any trouble that a car was not going to cut it, and he's a local? How does he not know what Schnebly Hill is?

98% sure there is a sign like this here

But tbh uber/lift have really gone down hill

last couple times ive used them during work travel the car was a POS and/or the driver was acting weird/intoxicated

Might be an unpopular opinion, but we're team Waymo. Takes longer, but I prefer not having to make small talk or listen to some old lady's gospel music on my way to the bar. Going to New York this past weekend and riding in some disgusting Lyft/Uber XL's was enough to reaffirm those feelings.

I started going back to taxi's when needed. Had a couple co-workers that were passengers during a Lyft/Uber drive accident. Took nearly a lawsuit to get them to pay up. Their drivers are "contractors" so they aren't covered under L/U's insurance apparently.

Waymo for sure. Back when Uber was a proper cash burning machine they were good, now that they have fallen off that intoxicating high of venture capital, not so good.

Ridesharing app for running trails actually sounds pretty cool
Instead of a pink jeep tour you just ride with some guy in a Tacoma

I guess not anymore sketchy than any other ride share. I like it!

At least in a Tacoma offroad you know you'll actually get to the destination. Lol

My recall of Schnebly the one time I drove it east-to-west ... after 5 or 6 miles of mostly flattish you round a corner and it is obvious you have just left Kansas (... Toto).

Damn, just kids too. Reads as though they're both HS students. I'm seeing a lot of posts of "abandoned" campsites after the Memorial Day Weekend.

It's just rough these days. I'll likely to continue to avoid the amateur hour weekends and go on the days that others don't think it's cool.

Rumor has it MicroCenter will be opening a store at a closed Conns site at 44th/Thomas.

Any tech/computer geeks who have been to Microcenter know what this means for Phoenix.
