Looking at the picture you have one man door and the other on the side is a small roll up also? For a Side x Side or smaller?

10' on the front, 8' on the side along with a walk thru side door. Yea the smaller door will be for my SXS and lawn mower. Also to have a little air flow. I was going to put the 8' door on the back but I have a pond behind this and thought the side would be better.

What was the cost on just Building if you don't mind me asking? And could you have gone with a 12' foot door on the front?

The building was around $10,000 and yes I could've went with a bigger door in the front, but it would've cost quite a bit more because they would have to make the entire building taller. I went with a 12' high because it worked for me. The total cost is going to be close to $40,000, Fill, grading, compacting, survey, concrete pad, drainage plan, permits. I was lucky my neighbor owns a land clearing company and he did all the tree removal for me super cheap($1000)and I had a ton of Brazilian pepper and about 10 huge pine trees. That could of easily added another $5000 to the cost. I also had to move my well which was $3500 it was right where I was putting the garage.

I'm excersizing the heck out of this 20% off deal for inside track members at harbor freight. I picked up this oil type compressors for $114 of with the discount. Was $569 brought it down to $455. I've looked at and compared a lot of compressors and settled on this one a long time ago, just waited for a sale to purchase it. I like it because all the components are separate and can be replaced when the time comes, it's 110v, and a v twin pump that will run cooler. I also like that the drain valve is located towards the front for easy access. This is just for my wood shop, I have a 2 stage 80 gal in the garage.

I have the McGraw 21 gallon, 175 psi oil free vertical compressor.
Love the capacity along with the tiny footprint as only have a 1 car garage.
Keeps up for anything car related that ive had to do at the house.
About 3-4 years old now, & zero issues.

I figured moving the well would have been more, But your water table is higher there.

60 feet that's it. My old one was only 30. 60 feet no iron but a little sulfer, 30 feet no sulfer but loaded with iron.

That should tur out nice! I like the side roll up door too. Its the one thing I sort of regret on my shop/garage is not have a bigger door on the side or back. Not a huge deal but theres times where it would be nice to get something inside without having to move whatever is in front of the main door.

I originally had it set up for just the big front door and small side door, but they went on sale and for the same original price I added the 8' side door.

I have this same compressor in my garage and it's been trouble free for the past couple of years. I did change the oil in it per the instructions (I think it was after 1 hour of run time, but I could be wrong.) It does everything I need it to except wind up the hose HAHA

My current setup. Moving to a place with a garage next month so for now my tools live in the Tacoma. I plan on building a toolbox with a lower shelf to set the US General on, and my goal is to have the metal lid sit flush with the top level so that when I close it, I have some extra workspace. We'll see how doable that is.

I wish now with my 40x40 ive 2 big doors on the front and then man doors on the corners basically. wish now id have added one more smaller roll up rear door in the middle of the back would have been nice, especially when I've had to rig the Tacoma to pull something in the door with the winch. when I've been alone. been nicer to have been able to set the truck at the back roll up and pull from that , or to even be able to drive something all the way though.

Maybe it was in the garage thread?

Someone else had the same winching problem. They said they set up a pulley at the front of the garage so they could park the winch equipped vehicle behind the project, and winch the project forward by themselves
