A buddy of mine machined round aluminum "pucks" to replace the cab mounts on his FJ.

Not necessarily on a Tacoma but I have heard of people using Hockey Pucks.

I figured out why this happened. Seals-it seals come with 1” ID seals, apparently less pliable than the Spydertrax and trail gear stuff. Pulled third and driver seals were both torn. Passenger was 1/2 torn. I called up seals-it and they have some 35 spline axle-sized seals on the way.

For now I have a replacement 1” set installed that I punched the centers out to open up to 1.25”. Will see how long that lasts.

Hockey puck as body lifts are an old school redneck engineering invention circa 1980. Today there's much better material to use. lol

Is anyone running a full floater? or looking to go that route?
I have bnib Camburg hubs with rotors and willwood calipers I would love to sell.
I have an unused set of axle shafts as well but not sure anyone would be interested in the Axel housing itself since it was left outdoors for 4 years unfortunately.

willing to let these items go for what I paid on my invoice for anyone interested.

camburg 35 spline 6 lug taco/Silverado bolt pattern.
    Willwood superlites (4x)
    And 300m 35 spline axels for a 71.5wms housing

I’ve been told the housing isn’t that bad but it definitely needs to be blasted and Maybe vapor honed for it to be perfecto. just hard for me to get accomplished atm

This axle was configured for 37’s or 40’s
It’s already trussed and tabbed for 4 link and has double caliper mounts so you can run a cutting brake and a pedal brake.
I have rotors and 4 willwood superlites as well as the mentioned nitro gear trutrac

If someone happens to be 4WD
I have the 5.29 gears and install kit for the front to match also from nitro.
I essentially just want to get my cash back out and I’m sure when I purchased is cheaper than current market price.

the VA is doing their best to put me back in my wheelchair and that obviously effects my ability to provide for myself and family so I’m selling off everything from the Tacoma build.
I think the only items I’m planning on keeping is my beadlocks, and the coilovers off the taco if I ever get them back.

if anyone in socal was willing to offer their driveway and a few weekends worth of help.
The Tacoma is worth more money if I can strip it apart than if I have to make some shitty decision but I’d love to strip off my solo motorsports front suspension and the deavers on the rear.

the complete 4WD drivetrain has 25k miles on it so it’s definitely got a value but I sure asf can’t move it myself walking with a cane or a walker
(If you laugh I get to swing the cane at you)

I know some of you have already heard this so I apologize for repeating the parts for sale but I’m sure most of you can sympathize with building this to help others only to have everything you worked for destroyed infront of you.

I’ve lost a ton of sleep over this truck and continue to lose sleep over it.
I’d like to put it behind me.
I can start another project later on if God provides

Same here. Did some recent wheeling in Sand Hollow in March, Valley of the Moon here in SD multiple times, next weekend will be Big Bear and have never had an issue. I was concerned as well when I first got it done, but it has never caused me an issue. The springs are so close to the tires, just choose a good line where the tire crawls the rock and the spring perches should be a minimal issue.
