Actually only a few. The side piece that the pegs attach to, they're silver and have passenger pegs on the grom, but black and solo for the monkey. Mostly plug and play, you just have to replace a couple bits with other cheap OEM bits. And then removed the front fender and put on monkey fork guards, plug and play.

I am enjoying after work rips on the pit bike with my kid riding with. Not enough time to get him all suited up for him to ride but we just cruise around.

We have been letting the kids ride the striders in the driveway. They both do really well but the stacyc is too fast for the daughter still. Wish it had a slower mode.

Heck yeah! That’s where it all begins. I really wish I would have gotten him a Stacyc early on.

My dad has a Concourse that's in damn near museum shape. Super clean bike, I'll probably try to buy it off him at some point

Hoping the XR I plan on buying scratches my minibike itch. Probably won't. I've wanted a grom since before I could drive
Someone near me was selling a Super Cub and if I didn't already have plans made to buy my coworkers bike it would have come home with me.

The Grom is a blast to ride, but IMO it's only for those who live in the suburbs/city. I had a 2019 but I live about 5 miles out of a smallish town and no one local had one to ride with. I would go rip around here and there but it ended up sitting more than it was ridden. It would do 60 on the highway but it honestly wasn't the safest. Wind gusts and bumps in the road would throw it all over at those speeds, and it'll go through bearings with those little tires spinning that fast all the time. But if lived in or worked in town I would have ridden it everywhere. They are a blast.

I used to have a 2015. It just never got ridden between having a drz sm with 434 kit or my 690. Not having either of those now and finding the r6 boring a grom would get me a lot further than my razors would right now (legally )

That's a large part of why a Grom, Monkey, or that style wouldn't work well for me. I'm in a development and while I have a lot of stuff close to me, my commute for work includes 5 miles of interstate every day, unless I'm willing to leave earlier each morning and take secondary roads. I rarely ride with other riders and they seem like they'd be more appealing in a group setting.

Picked up this 2022 500EXC with 27 miles and 1.4 hours on it. Came with a full FMF exhaust and GET ECU. Now my son and I can tool around Big Bear then venture into town for lunch then go back out for some more :bikewhoops:2022 500EXC.jpg

Damn how did that thing sit for 3 years?!

I started prepping my 350 for sale. When it sells I will be trying out the 2 stroke variety. Will be getting a street titled te300 to better match the type of riding I have been into lately.

Story goes he bought it (in his mid-sixties) and started doing the mods and got divorced, moved in with his mother and had no space/time/money to keep it. I also have a 2 stroke variety which I love in the tight technical stuff.KTM 300.jpg

I used to work 15 mins away too all highway. Now that im 3 miles from work and rarely go that far anymore itd be more fitting
    What a gem.
Youll love it! Id really suggest not ruling out a 250. I enjoy mine more than the 300 and its easier to ride. Plus they can be found cheaper usually.
If you both arent on ktm talk and want technical discussions (for the most part) then you should join
