I used to get that code on my Silverado, more than a couple times. After replacing the gas cap a couple times I finally ended up putting a piece of black tape over the idiot light. In fact I forgot to remove it when I traded it in on my Taco.

I remember awhile back you made a recommendation for a new head unit that you were interested in, Sony 9500es with the 10” screen. Did you ever pull the trigger on that. Reason I ask, is after your recommendation I am very close to ordering it.

Well, you could always rip it up and have Astro turf put down. Always green and never have to mow, or fertilize. And some actually look pretty good. Just sayin.

I have one since they came out and sometimes I wish I had waited and gotten the 9000es instead to give it that OEM look. At times I want to get rid of the 9500es and get the 9000es.

The Redline MT-LV finally showed up so threw that in the transfer case last night. For once, it seemed a little early to change it as the fluid that came out was in great shape. But it is nice knowing that everything is done. It is noticeably smoother in 4WD though, so I'm not upset I changed it. Unlike the diffs, the transfer case has no magnet on the fill plug so I added one during the servicing. I believe there is one in the pan, but it would be nice to be able to quickly tell if there are any issues during the next service. Plug I added: Magnetic Drain Plug | Trail Toys

AWE Exhaust, KARTBOY exhaust hangers, custom 1/0 exhaust grounding, lots of Titanium hardware from my old builds, silly JDM bits from my old Subaru builds, Uniden Bearcat Off Road CB, Firestik 2 w/custom CF mount, custom KARTBOY plate frame with Rigid Industries Spot on ball head mount, Yakima Mega Warrior w/custom CF cross brace. ARP extended studs (not installed yet), Optima Red Top, Siless Insulation in cab. Diode Dynamics LEDs throughout... More titanium fasteners. K&N intake snorkus delete. Greddy hose clamps throughout. DBA 4000XS Brake Rotors. TRD PRO fogs. Dakine Tail Gate Pad. Body Armor Sliders. Icon Stage 4 Lift. Eibach 1" Lift Blocks. Overland Taylor Tune. Rough Country Spare Tire Bed Mount. 67 Designs stuff on the dash. Uniden Radar Detector Hardwired. Spod Lighting Controls. RC Black Series Bumper Lamps RC Black Series Grill Lamp. Body Armor Stealth Front Bumper. Extended Brake Lines. Greddy Shift Knob. More to come of course.
Among other money devouring hobbies I have, I also collect NIB Tamiya RC car kits. They make a great kit for the old MBZ Lemans cars. The rere is a TC-01 kit and its pretty affordable compared to the OG MBZ Le Mans kit. The OG D2 livery car is really expensive these days. Like $500 - $1000. The TC-01 version is much more affordable. You can own one.

-EDIT- I checked my hoarder inventory spreadsheet and I bought the TT-01 version when I got mine. A bit cheaper than the TC-01. ( I keep the spreadsheet around so the fam knows what this stuff is worth if I croak...)

Changing engine oil, the diff fluids, transfer case oil, manual transmission fluid, re-locating the breathers up higher and adding 2-way valves for the diff's and transfer case. Rainey weekend - perfect time to be under the truck.

I change the diff's and transfer case every 15K and the manual transmission every 30K. I re-geared a few years ago due to where I live and how I use the truck, off-roading and pulling an off-road camper at times. It may seem over kill but I want to keep everything in good working order.

Do the spare tire pulley relocate and it'll fit. All you do is unbolt it, move the front bolt hole on the pulley to the rear bolt hole on the truck, mark where the new hole should be and drill a new rear bolt hole. I had my 275/75r17 fit without any other modifications. I now fit 285/75/r17 but had to do an exhaust axle dump, remove the exhaust hanger and bend the supports to get it to fit.

This. My 285 fits with room to spare after doing this.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I was expecting to do the same, but my 255/85/16 fits just fine...actually better than my 265/75/16 spare did.

Had a Mous suction cup, windshield mount, magsafe phone charger and it broke. I removed the round charger piece that has a 17 mm AMP ball and bought a 17 mm AMP ball mount and some Gorilla glue double sided tape. $28 fix and it's much more convenient than the windshield mount.

Not buggin by any means. And a decent fix. And I envy the stationary position. I have an air vent model ( I went thru a few) til I have one that really clamps down on the fin. My only knock would be line of sight if off roading or something on the side of the road.
