There has been a scam featured on the news lately. Two buyers show up to look at the vehicle for sale, one of them distracts the seller while the other one pours oil on the motor. They point it out and negotiate the price down a lot. It doesn't really sound like what might have happened here, but it sure seems coincidental and unusual.

 

It is Friday!!!

 

I saw a story on the local news about this

 

I tried pulling that scam. All it did was confuse the hell out of the sellers as to why their inflatable kayak was covered in 0W-20.

 

I attempted this scam when looking at a used salad for sale, but it turns out that it was already drenched in oil and vinegar. I guess the joke's on me.

 

It’s 2025. You’d legally have to be a dumbass to fall out of situational awareness of an accomplice fucking you out of money.
