Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
There has been a scam featured on the news lately. Two buyers show up to look at the vehicle for sale, one of them distracts the seller while the other one pours oil on the motor. They point it out and negotiate the price down a lot. It doesn't really sound like what might have happened here, but it sure seems coincidental and unusual.

I tried pulling that scam. All it did was confuse the hell out of the sellers as to why their inflatable kayak was covered in 0W-20.

I attempted this scam when looking at a used salad for sale, but it turns out that it was already drenched in oil and vinegar. I guess the joke's on me.

It’s 2025. You’d legally have to be a dumbass to fall out of situational awareness of an accomplice fucking you out of money.

I personally know a lady who took her 2012 Corolla to the dealer for a key reprogramming and they told her it was "unfixable" and a "total loss" due to.. mold

She said "yea i guess there was a leak in the trunk seal, water got in and there was a bunch of mold back there. They said it wasn't worth fixing"

I said "umm.. wow must've been a lot of mold. Did you get your insurance company involved?"

She says "No, the guy offered me $400 for it so I sold it to him"

    I shit you not
