Someone was selling a butchered datsun truck, body swapped onto miata chassis and a poor widebody with chevy step sides welded onto the bed and cab. Was originally sold for around $2-2.5k and now the new owner is trying to sell it for $10k having done nothing to it.

Yeah she said it was showing signs of infection already when I saw her about 7 hours after it happened. Normally a cat scratch I wouldn’t worry about, hell he chews my hands and arms up all the time when I tease him. But because it was on my eye it’s definitely better to be safe than sorry

I put a fiberglass hard tonneau out on the curb with a "free" sign after giving up on selling it. I think I had it down to $50. A few days later I saw it on Marketplace for $150. It stayed there for weeks, maybe months, might still be there for all I know.

You know those memes about relationships where one partner is an introvert and the other an extrovert?

That's Theo, he's an extrovert and damn near talks every stranger's ear off when we're out, meanwhile I'm trying to keep to ourselves :bananadead:

What kind of metal needs a good preheat for a good weld? Cast? This weight on my post pounder won't stay

Cast needs pre-heating before welding, and a slow cooling so it doesn't crack

    Awe shit

Hopefully they heated it not just where it got welded, but also around the whole area passed the welded area - if it's cast iron though you will need a high nickel filler, and get it TIG welded
