clock location terrible, any fixes or mods?

    I am new to Tacoma's. The clock location is no good at all. I have a 2 wheel drive. Has anyone taken that plate located next to the air vent in the center and fashioned a clock that would look good there? I can't see my clock without moving my head around.
    Any help is appreciated because the clock ain't doin it.

    you mean the clock in the left centre of the dash? like below the stereo and above the climate controls? I've always love having the clock there.

    Yep.. I noticed that recently too. I have to bend around my steering wheel to see the clock as its hidden back in there. Probably my biggest dislike on the interior of the 1st gens hah.

    thats even worse IMO because its usually so small on the HU.

    I really like the location on my roommates hardbody nissan, right on the gauge cluster.

    nah I shouldn't say that, that thing has almost 300k of EXTREMELY hard miles on it and it runs like a champ.

    the first motor blew the head gasket at 246k and warped the head...

    I took mine out and put in a switch for my aux lights in place of it. I use the clock on my head unit to tell time.

    Yes...you can fix the clock location problem with the watch mod or the cell-phone-in-center-console mod or something like that.
