Agreed! I like two things he does. The first is realistic testing that has real world implications. The second is his brevity. He talks fast, but is always understandable. Quick, concise and tells it like he sees it.

Edit: And a third thing I like is how he uses a chart to show his results. If I do not have the time or patience to sit through a 20+ minute review I can scroll through the video, hit the highlights by looking at the charts he posts, then settle on his synopsis at the end and save 75% of the time it would take to watch the whole video.

I am thinking about purchasing a couple products and looking for the collective wisdom of purchasing them. The back story is that I have a long, quarter mile driveway that is in good shape but I anticipate needing to do some maintenance on it to keep it looking good. A tractor would be wonderful but not likely to be something that would be purchased anytime soon. So these products would be used with a lawn tractor, standard size with hydrostatic transmission. Here are the two implements I am considering purchasing.

72 inches wide and uses a Dewalt battery to remotely raise and lower the level of the box. $1600 plus shipping of $329.

    And....

$1400 and also uses a Dewalt battery and remote control to dump the bed. $329 delivery fee but when both items are in the cart it is $329 delivery for both.

    Here is the web site:

For the dump trailer, I’d spend $50 on a used one with manual dump lever or spend less than $400 on a nice new one from Home Depot or Lowe’s!

I actually have two older ones that are manual but neither are quite that size and can be cumbersome to get to dump when fully loaded. This one is quite a bit bigger and will serve me well as I get a little older and do not have the strength to lift heavier loads. Maybe it is time to see if there is a YouTube solution out there to add lifting capacity to the existing trailer(s) I have.

I totally understand! I was taught at a young age to just grab it and move it, but I know better now.

That is exactly where I learned about the dump trailer. He used one from that manufacturer in his last video.

I didn't even know this thread existed....Glad I ran across it. I'm looking for a heavy duty 5 foot bush hog. I plan on cutting brush with it not grass. My tractor is 30 HP at the PTO. I'll be buying used. Any suggestions on which units I might look for....?

Woods or Bush Hog brand are really heavy built. I have a Woods 6’ and I’ve cut some thick stuff with it, it probably helps I have it hooked to a 60hp tractor though.

Buying this Ariens 17” tiller off a neighbor who always just let me borrow it in the past. I hate asking to borrow things so i just asked if he’d sell it to me as he really doesnt use it and he agreed to. Told him he could use it whenever he needed just like he did with me. He wants me to come up with a price but i’m kinda clueless as to what its worth. Not a ton of info out there on there. It works great with only a little engine pulsing under load. I was thinking $250? Am I ballpark? IMG_3171.jpg IMG_3170.jpg
