The front rail on the 3rd gen is flush with the bedsides and the 2nd gen is not. Also, the accessory rails on the 3rd gen are farther down from the top of the bed rail... only factors that I know of.

Missing hardware isn't always bad. I picked up my Undercover Tonneau for $50, plus the $130 hardware kit. Just depends on if there's a hardware kit you can get, lol.

Thanks Bert. Just did some searching in the 2nd gen section. Looks like dimensions are exactly the same across gens but like you mentioned the rail heights are different. Still bolts right up but you have gaps in the front and rear. Swapping to voodoo rails apparently lowers the bed rails making them flush all around and eliminates the gaps.

Guess I need to math and see if new rails + used cover is cheaper than gen specific cover.

Was this trimmed with bump stops removed entirely or compressed?

Bump stops compressed to the point where the truck started to lift off the jack stand.

I cut a lot more off and it’s still rubbing. A 1” body lift is looking attractive at this point.

400 for the 4wheels and tires then since you don’t need the spare?
