I cut up rose bush cuttings and shove them in the mole holes. Apparently their blood doesn't clot so when the get cut by the thorns they bleed to death. I haven't had a mole problem since I started doing that 6 years ago.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
The best way to get rid of moles is dry ice pack some in every hole and cover them up the C02 will kill every one of them. I had a bunch in my old yard I used dry ice and it worked great.

Use smoke bombs in their holes. Grab some beer. Light the smoke bombs, sit back in a chair, and drink beer. As they pop their heads up for a breath of precious O2, shoot them.

RIP to my 08 Prerunner DC
When We had one we just put peppers and pepper dust near the entrance. They left.
Go get the hottest pepper you can cut one up chuck it in then find some super spicey spice or some thing throw that down there. It will probably leave.

I'm liking some of these ideas with smoke or CO2........i've got the same problem but my dogs go after them and leave even larger holes in the yard so i just got a couple of the spike trigger traps from the hardware store. Once the mole triggers the trap, spring loaded spikes shoot into the ground and kill it. seems to be working well

lots of good advice here. thanks guys. i have a little over 2 acres, with some woods, and every part of the land that is not wooded is filled with tunnels. pancake must have found a family yesterday cause i found 4 babies and a few adults spread out all over hte driveway. I'd just like to know how many i have. It's like a damn vietcong network out there. there are so may holes it may take a while to get it under control, if i even can.

My neighbor had moles. Turns out his yard was full of grubs and the moles were having a feast. He got rid of the grubs and that got rid of the moles.

Theres always the other option, Dynamite!

Yep, that should do it. :D

I have the same problem. I've been told the problem starts with grubs. Moles eat grubs and stick around if there's plenty of food. Get rid of the grubs and the moles search for better hunting ground. (like your neighbors...)
