Swapping to 285-70/18 next weekend (Wildpeaks). Have looked at room available to replace the spare underneath and it’ll be tight. Anyone successfully got a full size spare in that size swapped out?

Was it tight? or is there room to squeeze a little bigger tire in there?

I ran it for about a day. They hang so low that they become the part that drags or gets hung up offroad. It's just a bad spot for such a big tire. It also sits to the side in order to make them fit and it looks super odd. I can post pics later.

That's the size that comes on the Hybrid from the factory and is what is in my spare location. Does look a little big under there when it stops raining I can take a couple pics.

Someone with a 285/70/18 spare probably needs to answer that. It seems like 285/70/18 would fit but I don’t know for sure"

I orderd some 285/70/17's, sounds like it will be going in the already overcrowded bed... thanks
