I always thought that all tracks should have sprinklers system and a "go-fund me" type page. Once it reaches a certain goal the sprinklers turn on soaking the track.

Or just drop Monaco from the schedule, though where else would we be treated to Bezos and his yacht

Mick rumored to replace Colapinto after the 5 races... sounds like a great idea.

That 2nd Alpine seat is basically going to rotate the rest of the season, it's a paid seat and I expect to see Paul Aron get a few starts over the summer as long as the checks come through. It's been known that Flavio has been seen recently hanging with Carlos Slim and his bags of cash, so it's pretty much a lock at this point that Checo will be driving the car in Mexico. Would make sense to get him in there for COTA right before that and possibly just finishing out the season there before he joins Cadillac next season.

Yup, there's been a ton of names floated out there the past few months...Herta, Danny Ric, Mick's name has come up as well, but Checo leads the pack. It's kind of 2-fold in that it helps to launch a new team when one of your drivers has a very large, built-in fanbase already and nobody checks that box better than Perez. More importantly (as always) it comes down to money, and nobody is willing to throw more at it than Carlos Slim...just look at the 2nd half of last season at RB.

BTW, love your sig - Cool Rick would approve

Watched a reel this morning where a guy proposed Monaco changes. Hold two separate qualifying sessions where all the weekend points are awarded. The race itself would be in karts for charity only and F2 and F3 drivers would be allowed to compete with the F1 guys. The streets aren't big enough to race an F1 car but they could handle all those karts. At first I thought WTF is he thinking? Now I kinda like the idea. Of course it will never happen.

Remember when Daddy flew the golden child off to the "World's Best Surgeon" in Spain to have the hand surgically repaired after the bicycle crash and Lance made that spectacularly quick recovery to get back in the car while still unable to turn the wheel full lock to lock.

Jus tMax doing Max things, which he doesn't do much any more, but that side of him is very clearly still there. He realizes he's not way out front any more and is just losing his shit.

I seriously hope there is a bigger penalty coming soon for that blatant hit on Russell.......he should have been black flagged. Verstappen has always been a Douche Canoe but this was an entirely different thing. I think this race might be an entire episode on next seasons DTS....lol.

I think we are just waiting on the penalty. He also careened into LeClerc and then blamed Charles!!!!!!!!!!
