I'm 66" WMS on the stretched yota housing. 84" over all with -38 wheels. Don't touch the steering box at full lock.
Still narrower than my buddies 4runner on a +2 long travel kit.

Got any pictures of how that looks on the truck? I want to say I’m under that with my 38s in the winter.. and it’s very wide with those on

huh, are you referring to overall width as side wall to side wall? Trying to understand how 84 is measured.

Should have some good pics next week of it. Nothing good as it's still in the garage.
Yea that's correct. Widest point to widest point. Was trying to see if it would fit on a trailer as is or if I would have to find a set of rollers for it.

For some reason I thought the coopers were 40’s.

Haha I wish I would have just built it around 40s now. It’ll get there one day - sooner than later I think

Got my switch pros installed and wired, panel mounted, light harnesses built! Very happy with it all, thinking I’ll change the lp4s to driving combo amber lenses.

Looks great with the LP4’s and LP6’s. Can’t complain about the light output either.

Super happy with them! I’ll probably end up removing this switch panel and mounting the switches somewhere else, it blocks my front cup holder. I moved them back 3/4” or so but still can’t fit anything in the front one.

Haven’t looked at the truck much in the past month or so. Got married, took a trip, hanging with the pup and driving the other Tacoma mostly. Time to get back to it before I get bored and I end up trying to sell it lol.

First off, sold the STT Pros. Going back to a trail grappler.
Added a battery disconnect switch, moved battery to passenger side of bed to try to help with weight distribution. Taco leans hard
Next, need to engine cage it. Radiator support is cracked. - if anyone has some good pictures of engine cages with no cab/interior cage.

Need to replace the junky trail gear steering shaft u joints, as well as reseal the firewall plate from TG. This truck is a lot noisier on the highway and the exhaust seems very loud lately, need to sort that out, makes it way less enjoyable to drive. I’d also love to enclose my cone air filter or find a small air box from another vehicle I could fit into this, intake noise also really bothers me haha. If anyone has recommendations, I’m all ears!IMG_0850.jpgIMG_9925.jpg

Do you go with a borgson joint? The tg shaft and joints, I feel, are the weak link in the steering, the seal at the fire wall is bs, the set screw seems to be ripping it up, I want to cut the shaft and up grade u joints.

Yeah borgeson is the fix I guess. I don’t know when this happened but I shined a light on one side of the firewall plate and there’s a massive gap, typical TG quality and figment. IMG_0915.png

Didn't like the Coopers eh? I had trail grapplers a long time ago and they were a super hard compound. I didn't like them much then, so I'm curious to see how you like the trail grapplers!

Not a bad tire, just weren’t for me. I’ve ran 37” and 40” trail grapplers previously, probably my favorite tire. They actually are the softest dot tire on the market (as of a couple years ago)
