Good news! Oil leak is fixed! The -10ORB to -10AN fitting in the filter block was loose. Took it out, put a new one in with a fresh oring and torqued to 35lb-ft and no more leaks!

used 4 cans of brake clean on the front end of the truck to clean oil and dirt off of it from the leak. Messed up the paint on the fabbed stuff so I hit it with some steel it and we’re good as new.

truck gets an alignment Saturday and then we’re just waiting on ECGS!

side quest, my AC isn’t working for some reason, so I need to diag that when I feel like it.

Well one of my homies totaled the shit out of his Silverado, so I traded him my 2 tube 2.5’s for his 3 tube 3.0’s for the rear. Super pumped about these.

    IMG_5341.jpg

also just got my trd pro grille for the tundra. Waiting on the running lights and wiring for them so I can throw them on.

Absolutely unbelievable. My alignment was perfect. Truck has never been aligned. Out of the box from 454’s install and it’s on the money. Literally couldn’t be more shocked, but also thrilled.

So technically, is the truck street legal?

Depends on your definition of street legal. And who pulls you over.

yes, it’s registered and insured and up to date on everything, but technically it’s too wide, I don’t have running lights in the rear for extra wide, tires out of fenders, no DOT seatbelts, etc etc etc list goes on

I just trailer it around to where I wanna go Offroad now. Saves a lot of drama

if they didn’t print out the sheet, I wouldn’t have believed them.

I saw a few people in AZ street heat got big citations for evading emissions because their cars were registered out of county but were operated solely in county.

Don't draw attention or be stupid.. :notsure: I have classic registrations, out of county registrations, now and even way back when. Trucks aren't the same as the Street Car Scene.

True, however a big loud V8 92” wide Tacoma with antennas and tires in the back is pretty hard to be lowkey in

Did you ever find a wire that gives a 12v signal when you press the ac button on the dash? If so what wire is it?
