1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Drove the tacoma for the first time in Awhile, accidentally put it side way. Forgot how light the rear end is. Driving a loaded down F250 all the time i forget what the tacoma is like

 

I might not be good at alot of things. But i like to think im pretty decent at hvac

 

This little guy was the last out of the nest this morning for flight school.



and ummm...he didn't make it. Dogs got him... :/

 

I think the neighbors dog got this guy, let me walk up like its nothing earlier

 

The birds keep building nests every year even though it's where the dogs exist. I'm not sure if he fell or was trying to fly or what but one second he was chillin' and the next he was in the dogs mouth. It didn't make it; bleeding from it's mouth and yap -- tossed over the fence into the canyon ded.

 

We have three nests up in the top corners of our gondola in the backyard, tons of little birds always flying around. I reached my phone up there to snap pics today to see what was in the nests. One of them was too tucked away but found some eggs in one and a baby bird in the other






But yeah for their sake I hope they don’t fall out, or Dex will have eggs and baby birds for breakfast lol

Yah - they keep coming back every year; I usually try to catch them building nest and toss it before it's fully formed but they are quick. I've seen broken eggs, flopped birds, dog snacks, all of it. The bigger birds run into our large windows and plunk down to be licked further to death. Our 'older' dog has a spot she hides things...like birds...

 

If that's your plan, there's a very cheap way to turn it into a stool...

The first car I remember my dad buying was a Ford Aerostar when I was 3 or 4 years old, ‘88 or 89

 

now that I think back on it, that was the car that my mother shut the door on the back of my head with (by accident, allegedly) resulting in numerous stitches and a bald scar I still have back there to this day

 

Another v6 regular cab. This one's clean, low mileage, and (relatively) cheap. It'll probably be sold by lunch time tomorrow.
