Door will not open

Suddenly back passenger door will not open from inside or outside, googled it but found nothing for a 2022 Tacoma, any info on this?

 

Is it locked?

 

Try pushing in on outside of the door near the latch. If the handle now opens the door then the latch needs to be adjusted.

 

How does latch feel on the inside? could have just come disconnected if it was just left loose by someone else

 

Did you take the door apart recently?

If the handle/latch cable fittings aren't snapped into place properly, sometimes they pop out of the fittings.

When this happens, the handles are unable to operate the latches.

 

While not on my Tacoma, this did happen to my Camry.

 

Did you or someone flip the child safety latch in the door jam?

 

when installing sound deadening and speakers my handle disconnected from the linkage.
