I am a wireless tech - spend most of my day at cell towers. I ran into a tech from Sprint today who works on a contract with Ericsson. He and I were shooting the shit about our jobs and he asked me how I like my tacoma. (he drives a 4x4 company-issue silverado)

I told him I loved it and have put on 7200 mi in 2 months, yep, driving the hell out of it.

He says, "pshhh, I've had this 4 months and there's 25,000 miles on it "

    thats a 208 mi/day average...unbelieavable

That must be why they issue Silverado trucks. Use them for 12 months, then dispose of them.

Pretty much. he said around 80-90k they start having major issues. A/C power steering, everything electrical stops working. They just throw em out and get new ones.

    Absurd, if you ask me.
